Not far away from Tromsø, in a hidden fjord, awaits a beautiful hiking trail under the Midnight Sun. The midnight sun hike includes an introduction to the indigenous Sami culture through stories and interesting sights on the mountain.

After a scenic drive between the mountains and fjords, the tour starts in the serene and wild Nakka Valley. The tour begins with a visit to the site of a former Sami camp and an introduction to their culture and history. From here, start hiking towards the mountain pass with your guide. This will give you a superb view of a few of the highest peaks in Northern Norway, bathed in the golden glow of the Midnight Sun.

This is a medium-level hike, but you will be rewarded for your efforts. There will be breaks during the hike to investigate unique Sami sites, enjoy the scenery, take photos, and learn more about this magical Arctic environment. Hot drinks and snacks served during a longer break.
