Midnight sun
From May 22 to July 22, you can enjoy the midnight sun and daylight all night. Summer is perfect for walks on fine sandy beaches, for hiking in the mountains, for exploring the azure waters between the islands of Bergsfjorden. Also for relaxing and enjoying the magnificent scenery of Senja. Senja is a right treat of Norwegian nature during all seasons. You will never run out of exciting photo motifs or nature adventures when staying here. For those seeking exciting activities – try body rafting in a maelstrom or visit our hot tub in a fishing boat wearing our stylish swimsuits. - Harstad Evenes Airport to Hamn i Senja: ca 3 hours
- Snowman Int. airport/Bardufoss to Hamn in Senja: 1.5 hours
- From Finnsnes to Hamn i Senja: 50 minutes
Hurtigruten and express ferry from/to Tromsø and Harstad stops at Finnsnes every day. In the summer you can also go south from Gryllefjord to Andenes/Lofoten, and north from Botnhamn to Brensholmen and Tromsø by car ferries.
