- Visit the fantastic Ice Domes in Tromsø, and choose between two action-packed activities. Dogsledding or Snowmobiling.
- The Ice Domes are constructed each year as the Polar Night approaches. They’re located in the beautiful mountainous setting of Tamok Valley, Tromsø.
The Ice Domes
The guides will explain the construction process of an ice hotel and about the impact, the snow has for the survival of our Arctic animals. A non-alcoholic ice shot at the stunning ice bar is complimentary. In the Ice Cinema, we show a short video of the building process. You may buy drinks on the spot at the ice restaurant. Preorder all wished for meal services at the restaurant!. Please note that the temperature inside the ice domes is -5°C, wear warm winter clothing.
The Action-Adventure
Option 1 – Dog Sledding
No experience needed. All the equipment included. The guides teach you how to use the sled, and into the wild we go!
Age Restrictions: 10+
Health requirement: Able-bodied and in good form.
Option 2- Snowmobile Safari
Driver’s License needed. All the equipment included. The adventure begins with safety introductions and a practical demonstration.
Age Restrictions: Passengers must be 14+, Drivers must be 18+
Health requirement: Able-bodied and in good form.
