Lake Mývatn is famous for its natural beauty with the mountains in the background as well as the nearby caves, used as a filming location for the TV series Game of Thrones. Whilst in the area, why not visit the Mývatn Nature Baths, which features a naturally heated man-made lagoon?
Goðafoss, a popular waterfall in Northern Iceland, is over 12 meters tall and 30 metres wide and regarded as the scene of historical events from the saga times. The waterfall offers picture-perfect views of the surrounding mountains and scenery.

Northern Iceland features a beautiful arctic coastline with stunning seaside surroundings. Take a tour where you can travel by the Eyjafjörður coastline to Siglufjörður Fjord. You will stop at several locations, such as the black sand beach in Ólafsfjörður Village and the busy harbor area of Dalvík Village, one of the biggest ports in the Icelandic fishing industry. There will be several other stops along the way, but most notably a special visit to Kaldi Brewery, Iceland’s first micro-brewery, where you will get to taste their products and local cuisine.

Whales such as mink and humpback along with dolphins and porpoises are commonly spotted in Northern Iceland. If you want to see these animals up close, take a tour and set sail in a small boat to ensure that the animals are not disturbed. This makes for a truly unforgettable experience and a must-do whilst in Northern Iceland.

Aurora Borealis, commonly known as The Northern Lights, are a common sight in Northern Iceland.
