JOIN IN ON THE FUN AND HELP TAKE THE PUPPIES OUT FOR TRAINING!

Take part in Puppy Training! One of Tromsø Villmarkssenter’s main ambitions is participation in dog sledding races. Therefore the training of our huskies throughout the entire year is therefore essential. In summer it is time for our puppies to receive their first lessons – with your help!
After a 25-30 minute drive from Tromsø, our guides will welcome you. You will then receive a tour of our facilities.
After this, go with an experienced handler on a 1-1.5-hour easy hike. Now you get to help us train our future racing superstars. These little ones are only between 4 weeks and 7 months old.
We will do different exercises to teach them teamwork with other dogs and humans.
After the training, we will serve you a delicious lunch of Bacalao. This fish dish is a part of the traditional Norwegian cuisine. Gather around an open fire in our Sami Gamme-Hut. A vegetarian option is available upon preliminary request.
