Wolves are notoriously reluctant to interact with people, but this rare semi-wild pack have grown up surrounded my humans since they were born. With the spectacular scenery of Arctic Norway as a back-drop, tick off some major bucket-list highlights such as seeing the Northern Lights, husky dog sledding and exploring Norwegian mountains and fjords surrounding Tromsø.
The wolves will let you come up close, stroke and even sing with them in their natural environment. They love you even more if you indulge them with a kiss! All this and along the way you can enjoy some world class local food straight out of the Arctic Ocean or surrounding tundra!

Day 1: Friday
ArrivE in Tromsø
(Norwegian Airlines direct from Gatwick leaving 14:15, lands at 18:45)
The Public Airport transfer service easily gets your hotel, Clarion The Edge in Tromsø, for check-in. Optional alternative is a taxi from outside the terminal building.
Optional evening meal at one of Tromsø many gourmet restaurants with the freshest raw material and sea food the sea has to offer.

Day 2: Saturday

09:00 Luxury coach departs Tromsø to Polar Park
12:00 Arrival at Polar Park. (bring and store your luggage here)
12:00 Visit into the Wolf enclosure. Expert animal keepers are with you to teach you about the wolves and keep you safe. (Minimum age 18 years old, suitable clothing required, fitness level requirement: good, English speakers only.)
15:00 Departure by coach to Rundhaug Gjestegård.
18:00 3-course dinner at Rundhaug Gjestegård. Optional extra activities at Rundhaug:
21:00 Northern Lights Evening with Reindeer & Sami or Dog Sledding Adventure
Sami Reindeer and the best spot for Northern Lights watching awaits you outside Basecamp Snowman. Enjoy an unforgettable meeting with the indigenous Sami people and their reindeer, while looking out for the Northern Lights under the night sky. Warm up inside a traditional Sami lavvo and enjoy hot coffee and snacks. You can also feed the reindeer! Some will eat out of your hand, ready for you to feed them and take photos with them.
Overnight at Rundhaug Gjestegård.
Day 3: Sunday
REturn to Tromsø

19:00 Northern Lights Panorama Dinner at the Fjellheisen cable car high above the fjords, islands and town of Tromsø. Perfect view and a great spot for seeing the Northern Lights away from light pollution. (Minimum numbers required.)

Breakfast at Clarion Hotel Edge Tromsø
11:00 Pick-up from Radisson Blu Hotel in Tromsø for Reindeer Sledding and meeting the indigenous Sami people.
11:30-13:30 Sami experience and lunch with the Sami, reindeer sled ride included.
14:00 Return to the Radisson hotel Blu Tromsø or drop off at Tromsø Airport for flight home to London Gatwick.

- Accommodation or activities are subject to availability upon enquiry
- Meals are included only when specified in activity descriptions.
- Visitors are responsible for bringing suitable warm winter clothing for use outdoors in the Arctic. A guide to suitable clothing will be provided prior to departure. Extra clothing will be provided for the following activities: husky dog sledding.
- Flights are not included, please enquire if needed
- Offered activities on the itinerary will be charged in full once itinerary is agreed upon, even if clients choose not to take part in any given activity on the day.
- The Wolf Visit requires all participant to be 18 years or older, in reasonable physical health (no bad knees or inability to get up or down from kneeling), good English speakers, suitably dressed. The animal keepers at Polar park reserves the right to deny entry to anybody not behaving responsibly or within the guidelines specified by the park team on the day.
